Our patriotic design is created to use as a free printable iron-on transfer to make a shirt, but can also be used for free scrapbook supplies or crafting supplies for projects.
When our patriotic designs are used to make a shirt:
1. Our designed are made with a white
shirt in mind, so colors of the transfer may vary when being ironed onto a
colored shirt. The type of iron-on transfer paper you use can also affect the
color.
2. Our transfer designs are not reversed so if your iron-on transfer paper instructs you to reverse (mirror) the image before printing, then you will need to pick that setting from your printer options. *** Important! Although most new types of iron-on transfer paper do not require reversing (mirroring), you do need to follow the directions included with the iron-on transfer paper you choose for making the patriotic shirt.
3. For iron-on transfers that are being put on dark shirts, look for iron-on transfer paper that is for “dark fabric.” You should be able to get this type of iron-on transfer paper wherever transfer paper is sold.
4. When washing any shirt that has an iron-on transfer, it is recommended that you turn the shirt inside out (to prevent the transfer from rubbing on other clothing). It is also recommended that you hang up the shirt to dry, do not put in the dryer.
5. For crafting projects that do not include iron-on transfers, print the patriotic printable as you would any other free printable.
